About

Hi,
I play guitar as a hobby. I’ve recently started teaching and I’ve started this blog to make it easier to hand out MIDI files to my students. I’ll be uploading some to another site, later. But I’ll use this blog to keep track of them by style/grade etc.

I use MIDI files because sequencer software allows people to change tempos, edit or follow the score, change key, etc. I’ve found them very useful when practicing.

I might upload some MP3s, too. It all depends.

…And it turns out that I’ll have to link to TAB files too! The editor here seems to display all strings of 2 or more dashes in groups of 2. eg: —— is six dashes. Putting spaces in – - – - – - would just be a pain now.

Using [pre][/pre], but with angled brackets, seems to have solved the problem of format in TAB. But not if the bold tags are also used.
